Now, I have heard it said that it’s lucky if it rains on your wedding day. So, Jake and Laura must be overflowing because we got a bit wet during the ceremony and our brief stint out to Devil’s Lake for some formals afterwards. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Jake and Laura got married at the gorgeous St. Joe’s Catholic church in Baraboo, I think you’ve all heard me saying how gorgeous it is there. The flowers were amazing, thanks to Missi at Wild Apples in Baraboo. The couple had an amazing getaway car provided by a friend of the family and we got some cute shots of them inside it as they left the ceremony for the reception at Trapper’s Turn in the Dells.

After we reached Trapper’s, the rain held off so we could head out on the golf course for some quick shots before the reception got into full swing. There was a candy buffet, loved it!, a strawberry fountain and Jake and Laura had a choreographed first dance, how amazing is that?! Super if you ask me, because we all know that not only does Rob have no musical voice, the poor man can’t dance either. It’s okay, I love him anyways. ;) So, check out the amazing images from this past summer, leave me some blog love because you know I love to hear what you have to say and enjoy!

Fabulously fun barely begins to describe Rick and Kelli’s wedding day. Rick and Kelli are so super sweet and awesomely in love that we just had a complete blast the whole day. The girls were getting ready in Mauston at the church, so I got to take some shots of them getting dressed and, of course, Kelli’s gorgeous wedding dress with its royal blue strip down the back, so gorgeous! Plus, she already had her flowers from Wild Apples.

While I was doing that, Rob and the guys were mostly chilling. I won’t let him lie to me, the guys are super easy, all they have to do is get dressed and they look amazing. Check out the black and white of Rick just sitting in the pews, isn’t he so handsome?! Plus, check out his smile, can you totally tell that he’s super excited to be married to such a gorgeous woman?

So, this is our year of, kinda, funny ring stories. Let’s just say that the wedding day just wasn’t the ring bearer’s day. Poor kid, he didn’t have the rings when the officiant asked for them, but don’t worry, they were just hiding in a  back room. Crisis averted. Plus, I think Rob and I will have some competition with the ring bearer, check him out in the reception shot. ;)

Talking about the reception, it was held at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells. The whole night was rocking. I am also enlisting Rick on teaching Rob how to dance, because he was awesome. No, really, he has the moves, don’t let him tell you any different.

Okay, okay, enough chatter, check out their amazing wedding! Feel free to leave me some blog love, because you know that I love to read what you have to say!

Here’s just a little sneak of our fav’s to tide you over for Thanksgiving! We’ve included a couple of our favorite shots from the ceremony, the groomsmen played a trick on Shaun, of course Rob knew about this, but I was left in the dark. Typical man. But the ring was there and all was well.

I wanted to share my favorite shot, so far, from last night’s amazingly fabulous wedding.

This shot turned out almost exactly as I had envisioned it in my head, which always gives me a giddy feeling. Rob and I had so much fun, the wedding party definitely kept us cracking up. Let’s just say we’re going to have a super fun blog post coming in the future!

For now, enjoy my fav so far!

I wanted to share a few of my favorite shots from Stacy and Joe’s wedding. What I love is how absolutely adorable and perfect these two are for each other. Can you believe that they both told me that they aren’t photogenic? I know, a lie I tell you, because Stacy is so gorgeous, and Joe is darn handsome himself. I think that they make one of the cutest couples.

The ceremony was held at St. Joseph’s Catholic church in Baraboo. Have I mentioned how much we love St. Joe’s? The church is gorgeous, is full of light and is a great backdrop for images. Even though it was pretty warm for October, we did talk Stacy and Joe into a few outdoor shots, and I am so happy that we did.

The reception was held at the Glacier Canyon Lodge in Wisconsin Dells. I think that the best man speech was one of the best ever, if not the best we have ever heard. The dancing was fabulous and we had a blast. I’m leaving you with some of my favorites of the day! As always, we love comments, so share your thoughts!

Chris & Shannon had a perfect day for their outdoor patio wedding!  We had so much fun-we set up the photobooth and everyone had a blast dressing up!  And you can’t forget about the cheesecake & apple pie!

It was really hard to choose one image for the sneak peek, so I had Rob help me limit the goodness down to his favorite shot. Of Stephanie and Corwin on the elephant! We had so much fun yesterday with Stephanie, Corwin and their friends and family. The whole day was one great fun adventure.

So, enjoy this little shot, I know we’re such a tease with just the one, but we have plenty more to come!

It’s been a crazy couple of weeks for us- all these wonderful weddings and engagement sessions!  I just wanted to share a few of my favorites from Deb + Erik’s wedding at Trapper’s Turn on June 4th.  I thought the golf balls were a really neat idea, especially since they were married on the driving range! This is Rob’s favorite dancing shot of the night.  It was a choreographed dance from a famous movie- I was wondering if anyone can figure out which one? After dark, Erik surprised Deb with fireworks!  A perfect ending to a perfect day!

I’ve been a bit behind on my blogging, I’m sure you can tell. These two shots are  just a couple I ran across from Kelli and Rick’s crazy awesome wedding over the Memorial Day weekend. We had so much fun with the two of them. Everything was perfect, even the little surprises.

Here’s just a taste for now. Luckily, I have a day off this week so I should, cross my fingers, get an actual post up and running before the week is out!

I just wanted to pop up a quick shot from this past weekend’s wedding. I adore Jake holding onto his new bride. Enjoy your honeymoon, lovebirds!
