Here’s just a little sneak of our fav’s to tide you over for Thanksgiving! We’ve included a couple of our favorite shots from the ceremony, the groomsmen played a trick on Shaun, of course Rob knew about this, but I was left in the dark. Typical man. But the ring was there and all was well.

I wanted to share my favorite shot, so far, from last night’s amazingly fabulous wedding.

This shot turned out almost exactly as I had envisioned it in my head, which always gives me a giddy feeling. Rob and I had so much fun, the wedding party definitely kept us cracking up. Let’s just say we’re going to have a super fun blog post coming in the future!

For now, enjoy my fav so far!

Chris & Shannon had a perfect day for their outdoor patio wedding!  We had so much fun-we set up the photobooth and everyone had a blast dressing up!  And you can’t forget about the cheesecake & apple pie!

It was really hard to choose one image for the sneak peek, so I had Rob help me limit the goodness down to his favorite shot. Of Stephanie and Corwin on the elephant! We had so much fun yesterday with Stephanie, Corwin and their friends and family. The whole day was one great fun adventure.

So, enjoy this little shot, I know we’re such a tease with just the one, but we have plenty more to come!

It’s been a crazy couple of weeks for us- all these wonderful weddings and engagement sessions!  I just wanted to share a few of my favorites from Deb + Erik’s wedding at Trapper’s Turn on June 4th.  I thought the golf balls were a really neat idea, especially since they were married on the driving range! This is Rob’s favorite dancing shot of the night.  It was a choreographed dance from a famous movie- I was wondering if anyone can figure out which one? After dark, Erik surprised Deb with fireworks!  A perfect ending to a perfect day!

I’ve been a bit behind on my blogging, I’m sure you can tell. These two shots are  just a couple I ran across from Kelli and Rick’s crazy awesome wedding over the Memorial Day weekend. We had so much fun with the two of them. Everything was perfect, even the little surprises.

Here’s just a taste for now. Luckily, I have a day off this week so I should, cross my fingers, get an actual post up and running before the week is out!

I just wanted to pop up a quick shot from this past weekend’s wedding. I adore Jake holding onto his new bride. Enjoy your honeymoon, lovebirds!

I know, I know, another sneak peek, but I’ve been crazy busy lately and this is all I have to offer you right now. I’ve got a Bombshell session in the morning, a newborn session to finish editing, twins were just born and I can’t wait to capture them, plus Stacie and Brad’s awesome engagement session to go through. Oh, what a week. We’ve got our first in a string of weddings starting this Saturday and won’t have a weekend off until July! Yay, I’m so excited!

So, there will be plenty to post, just not enough time in the day to go through everything along with spending time with my family, which I enjoy as much as everyone else. Especially now that the weather is starting to warm up on us. So, I promise to get in at least one more blog post this week, but not until after I have my work edited down a bit.

So, for now, one of my favorite shots from the tail end of Stacie and Brad’s engagement session last Friday, what a perfect day, even with the rain and the shy groom.

{sneak peek} baby A

Posted on May 11, 2011

I will admit that when I was younger, I never dreamed of having any kids. My sister is the one that I lovingly call “the baby whisperer”. I was going to have horses, a couple of dogs and cats, and possibly a ferret, because they are so cute! Of course, then I met Rob, we got married, had the most adorable baby.

Okay, okay, I’m getting off track. ;)

I love new babies. They are so delicate and tiny, and yet so strong. I love the way that they smell, like spit up milk, baby oil and just new. I admit that I shoot newborns just so that I can hold them.

On that note, I wanted to share a sneak peek of miss A’s session, she’s definitely a close second for cutest baby in the world, but I may be biased towards my own little monster. I love this macro shot of A’s little lips. Love it, love it, love it. Now, you can too!

I have to apologize for my lack of participation this past week. We received some super awesome news. While at the WPPI tradeshow in Vegas, we entered to win a contest, and guess what? We won a $1000 shopping spree to a vendor that we had been looking at, but weren’t sure that we wanted to go in that direction. Now we are super excited and not quite sure where to start.

Rob and I also attended the Becca’s Closet Gathering. Becca’s Closet is a nationwide group that helps girls that cannot afford prom dresses to have that experience. Our local chapter is run by a great couple of ladies who are making lives better. We were happy to donate a lifestyle session for the raffle. The night was a pure joy, the turnout was great, especially for such a good cause, because honestly, every girl deserves to have a great prom experience, don’t you agree?

Our week also had some downs in it. Rob’s grandpa passed on this week, it was quite unexpected for us and we will be heading up north to pay our respects. Unfortunately, all this meant that I put the blog on the backburner for a bit, but here’s to hoping that this coming week will be better for all of us.

I’m leaving you with a taste of what I’ve been trying to finish up on this week, Beth and Nick’s fabulous Vegas wedding, our first, but hopefully not last, destination wedding!
