Here’s just a little sneak of our fav’s to tide you over for Thanksgiving! We’ve included a couple of our favorite shots from the ceremony, the groomsmen played a trick on Shaun, of course Rob knew about this, but I was left in the dark. Typical man. But the ring was there and all was well.

I adore this shot of Sarah and Shaun coming down the aisle at the recessional!

{wordless wednesday} crisp

Posted on November 16, 2011

I know it’s a “wordless wednesday” post, but we’ve finally gotten a new computer so things are moving faster than ever. Yay! So, expect more blog posts, I’ve got a ton from this past summer that should be getting up. I’ll have to have that office manager of ours keep me on schedule. Breakfast. Playtime. Nap aka mommy gets to work time. Lunch. Playtime. Dinner. This is usually how the day goes for the office manager, she’s something special, that’s for sure. Well, Thanksgiving is in a week! Where has time gone? Let’s get ready with this shot I took out at the cemetery last week, I’ve ordered a bunch of albums to make it here before Christmas, so expect more more more on the blog very soon, my friends.  And with that, I leave you with my awesomeness! (I can pretend, right?)

Well, it’s that time of year, get out your snow boots, pull the spider webs off the shovel and get outside and make some snowballs!

Happy Halloween 2011

Posted on November 1, 2011

So, anyone who knows us, knows that Halloween is our very favorite holiday. This year, Jamie was actually into most of the activities. She helped Rob and I carve pumpkins, we headed over to the in-laws for that. Although, Jamie was totally not impressed when Rob started pulling the nasty pulpy pumpkin seeds out of the pumpkin. Smart girl, I hate that part, too. We carved some super awesome pumpkins, I made my warty pumpkin totally goofy, I also roasted the seeds for the first time.

A shy little grin with the pumkins.

A little smile for the camera while daddy carves his pumpkin.

The finished warty and goofy pumpkin.

I wanted to make Jamie’s costume myself, but as I have very little sewing skills (I have been making felt food by handstitching, I was not about to hand stitch an entire outfit) her outfit is semi-homemade. I bought a 24 month outfit, complete with ears in a grey tiger stripe, which fit for me since she is the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland, and I was running out of time. My mother in law helped, err did all the work, by sewing on a tail and larger ears. Jamie loved the costume so much, she wore it out to dinner tonight. I’ll admit it’s a bit short, that child is so tall, that she won’t be able to wear it for much longer, but she is so darn cute! I have decided that by next Halloween, I will teach myself to sew and make Jamie’s costume since I’m just not a fan of store bought costumes. I totally want to be original in my ideas, so why buy some junky costume when you can make your own super awesome one, am I right? ( If I’m not, just nod and smile, it’s what Rob does.)

Just a little kitten grin.

Here is the whole group, well almost the whole group, we’re missing a card and the caterpillar for this shot, but it’s all I’ve got!
