{album thursday} Dan + Stephanie’s hot ONE
Posted on August 18, 2011
Hello and welcome to album Thursday. Yes, I’ve been slacking, but we’ve been crazy busy with senior sessions, family sessions, not to mention our weddings, album designs and print orders!
Today, I wanted to share Dan and Stephanie’s super hot Finao ONE wedding album. This baby is big, it’s 12×12 luscious inches of baby soft leather and supple suede. I love the Ludicrous black leather with it’s gorgeous scrolling embossed design matched with Lusterin’ Hot, the most perfect hot pink ever! This album feels as hot as it looks. Dan and Stephanie’s album holds 75 images from their wedding day on 30 pages of matte prints. I know I say this every time, but I love our albums! The feel and the smell, it is divine, I could just hold them until I have to give them to their new owners.
I’ve, of course, included a few shots of some of my favorite spreads along with some great shots of the cover and the center cut print. So, take a look, feel free to leave some love -no spam please, and enjoy!

{engaged} Alecka + Andy’s Milwaukee engagement session
Posted on August 6, 2011
Rob and I went down to Milwaukee to shoot Alecka and Andy’s engagement session. I have known Alecka for quite some time and was super excited to get the email that she is getting married next year to this really awesome guy, enter Andy. Since they are living in Milwaukee and going to school down there, they thought it would be awesome to do their engagement session at some locations that mean a lot to them. We agree. I love going someplace that has meaning for our lovebirds.
The whole session was amazing, from each location, the outfits and the light, it was perfect! I hope you’ll agree.
Alecka and Andy, thanks for letting us come visit and play with your hairless kitties!

These are from a session we did last summer with Cassie. She is super athletic and wanted to show off her great tan, I’ll admit that all I do is burn.
So we headed down by the Wisconsin River for some great shots with the water and the rock formation, I love the way that the light was hitting us as we shot.
We then finished up in the studio for some cooler shots inside.
Wisconsin newborn photographer, hello baby m!

I’d like to introduce you all to my new nephew, Matthew, or Matty as we call him. Let’s just say that Matty was not that excited to have this big black thing in his face during our photo sessions, not everyone can be fans of the camera.
I love treating our newborn sessions as semi-lifestyle sessions. I love the new interactions between parents and their new bundle of joy. Plus, newborn sessions are just fun, even if my model isn’t in the mood. I always tell the parents that our newborn sessions may take a while, we leave everything up to baby and we don’t rush. I love doing sessions at client’s houses, Matty has a sea themed room and I just adored his seahorse painting, if you can’t tell.
Enjoy! Thanks Matt and Maria for letting me come over and capture your handsome little man!
