Brad + Stacie’s DeForest engagement session
Posted on July 26, 2011
I had the pleasure of meeting up with Brad and Stacie on a slightly stormy Friday morning. We were allowed into the apartment building where they had their first date, first kiss and first dinner, isn’t that so romantic?! So while it sprinkled, or perhaps even rained, outside, we stayed dry inside for some fun shots in the hallway. I absolutely loved the lighting fixtures.
We decided to brave the rain and head outside, and were lucky enough when the rain decided to stop. Brad and Stacie were up for anything, they kissed in the street, held hands along the railroad tracks, and even walked over to a little park for some fun shots to round out the session.
I had such a blast, Stacie and Brad. I hope the two of you did as well! Enjoy just a few of my favorites!
our little darling is two!

I find it hard to believe that two years ago we were blessed with our beautiful baby girl. It feels like just last month we brought her home and then last week she was climbing the stairs and the couch. My mother told me that they grow up fast, and oh how true that is.
Yesterday was Jamie’s second birthday. She had a blast, we hope. She took a swim in the pool before the party and had her very own cake. Unfortunately, I totally missed a shot of her taking a bite out of the cake. She blew out the candles on her own, opened up her presents, and used the new squirtguns to soak us all.
Looking back over the last year, I can’t believe how much has changed. Our little monster runs everywhere, she puts on her own shoes, my mismatched socks and climbs on everything. She chatters nonstop, reads in her own little language and gives the best hugs and kisses. I can not imagine life without her, she is such an integral part to our little family. I love taking pictures of her, even if she isn’t such a fan of the camera. I think that moments such as these should be captured, remembered and loved.
So, with that in mind. Here is our little monster, also known as our office manager, she surely keeps us from working too hard.
She loves to play peek-a-boo!
Wisconsin wedding photographer ~ Joe + Stacy’s autumn wedding

I wanted to share a few of my favorite shots from Stacy and Joe’s wedding. What I love is how absolutely adorable and perfect these two are for each other. Can you believe that they both told me that they aren’t photogenic? I know, a lie I tell you, because Stacy is so gorgeous, and Joe is darn handsome himself. I think that they make one of the cutest couples.
The ceremony was held at St. Joseph’s Catholic church in Baraboo. Have I mentioned how much we love St. Joe’s? The church is gorgeous, is full of light and is a great backdrop for images. Even though it was pretty warm for October, we did talk Stacy and Joe into a few outdoor shots, and I am so happy that we did.
The reception was held at the Glacier Canyon Lodge in Wisconsin Dells. I think that the best man speech was one of the best ever, if not the best we have ever heard. The dancing was fabulous and we had a blast. I’m leaving you with some of my favorites of the day! As always, we love comments, so share your thoughts!
I love this moment at the altar.
This shot is one of Rob and my absolute favorites of the whole day!
